Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. As a Janitor, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of our facilities. This is an important role in ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for employees and visitors.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Must be able to take and follow direction.
2. Maintain acceptable body hygiene and appearance per employee Handbook.
3. Stand for extended periods of time.
4. Able to complete duties accurately.
5. Must be able to communicate effectively and professionally
6. Must be able to read and write English.
7. Must be able to accurately perform simple mathematics.
8. Must be punctual.
9. Must be able to meet safely lift and move up to 50lbs
10. Must understand and observe all safety guidelines and recommendations.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Follow a cleaning schedule for the entire facility
2. Clean bathrooms, lunch rooms, office areas and production floor
3. Assist with opening new linen each month and staging for the wash aisle
4. Ensure work space is clean and free of debris
5. Receive and put away deliveries
6. Additional tasks as assigned
